This instrument is a Hunter whiteness meter modified to an integrating sphere type diffused light illumination and 0° light reception method (ISO method), making it possible to measure whiteness and opacity.
Whiteness is measured using a blue filter (effective wavelength 457 nanometers) and opacity is measured using a green filter (effective wavelength 557 nanometers) using a simple one-touch method.
